The Turn of the Key is one of the most highly anticipated thriller novels of the summer and I’m happy to say that it does not disappoint. It had just the right amount of creepiness and a short list of suspects, even though I didn’t guess the ending at all.

Right from the first 20 pages, you know what has happened. A child is dead and her recently hired nanny is sitting in jail. The nanny is writing letters to a potential solicitor on her side of the story and how she is innocent. The ending is different than anything that I had read before and I really loved how it was done. I was shocked and was left wanting more.
