Till death do us part
When they fell in love back in law school, Natalie and Will Clarke joked that they were so brilliant, together they could plan the perfect murder. After fifteen rocky years of marriage, they had better hope they’re right.
Their young son Charlie’s principal is accused of molesting a troubled student. It’s a horrifying situation—and the poison spreads rapidly. One night before bed, Jacob tells Natalie he is a victim, too. In that moment, her concept of justice changes forever. Natalie decides the predator must die.
To shelter Charlie from the trauma of a trial, Natalie concocts an elaborate murder plot and Will becomes her unwilling partner. The Clarkes are about to find out what happens when your life partner becomes your accomplice—and your alibi.

This novel is filled with what ifs. What if your son was the victim of a predator? What if you could get revenge? What if you could get away with murder? Would you do it and take the law into your own hands?
I loved the concept of this novel. Could you and your spouse pull off the perfect murder? This had everything in place to be a perfect novel. However, it feel short with the characters.
Will and Natalie were not likable at all. Natalie was a know it all and wanted to keep up with a perfect image. If something didn’t fit into her life, she would sweep it aside and pretend that nothing was happening. Will was the opposite of Natalie. He doesn’t have a backbone and was falling apart when something didn’t go right.
3 calculators out of a potential 5. If the blurb sounds interesting to you, pick it up! Once I started reading it, I just had to finish it even unlikeable characters and all!

I’ve seen this one around and was interested but I’m not sure now. Will and Natalie sound like a let down.

WHOA! That premise! It does sound great, but I get you on having a tough time when you just don’t like the MCs. Those kind of people (the sweepers aside) make me nuts. Thanks for the honest review.
